acac offers Trident Shield’s “FEARLESS”: a Women’s Self Defense Program

This four-hour level 1 foundations class serves as an introduction to Trident Shield’s “FEARLESS” Women’s Self Defense Program. 

Instructor Jason Perry combines his 25-year experience and knowledge as a Navy SEAL, Boston SWAT officer and Executive Protection Specialist to teach students tactical thinking, simple instinctive techniques and improvised weaponry that they will be able to employ immediately in real life situations.

The class will consist of a lecture and practical portion. Students will learn about the importance of situational awareness, use of improvised weapons, analyzing doorways, profiling, parking lot safety, firearm vulnerabilities, and understanding the “three strikes” of person, place and time.

The practical component will include simple hand-to-hand combat techniques, pistol take-aways, and an introduction to choke-defense maneuvers.

Students should come dressed in workout attire, be well hydrated, and ready to sweat!

About the Instructor:

Jason Perry is a veteran of both the military and police forces, spending 16 years in the Navy SEALS and 4 on the Boston SWAT Team.  Jason’s experiences, both personal and professional, have given him a unique perspective and set of skills that he now strives to pass on to as many groups of people as possible.  He founded Trident Shield in 2013 with the goal of teaching essential and simple techniques to individuals to help them stay safe in their daily lives.  Through Trident Shield, Jason currently instructs both individuals and businesses in how to prepare for, prevent or react to critical events.
