Fall and Spring Yoga Teacher Training Opportunities

If you are considering this yoga teacher training program, then you already realize the transformative power of yoga. This opportunity will deepen your personal practice, provide training to teach professionally, and give you a full foundation of all aspects of yoga.

Our 5-month journey takes place over a total of 7 weekends. You’ll work in a timeframe that allows you to fully digest and incorporate new knowledge and skills into your yoga practice as well as your everyday life. While our program prepares you for teaching yoga to others, it’s not necessary to want to teach yoga to benefit from this training. Whether you choose to teach yoga or not, our 200-Hour training will help you develop your unique style and cultivate your inner voice.

Our Curriculum

The 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Curriculum explores all aspects of yoga, from philosophy and history, to anatomy, pranayama, Sanskrit, and beyond. Learn the tools to grow into a gifted teacher, should that be a path you decide to follow. This program is for the serious yoga student looking to enrich their personal practice, or the yoga practitioner called to teach others and share their love of yoga with the world. Through this curriculum, you’ll learn to:

 – Teach public yoga classes authentically and confidently to beginning and experienced students

 – Be familiar with and have the knowledge to teach most styles of yoga taught in area gyms and studios

 – Create a welcoming class environment for students of varying ages and abilities

 – Read your students’ bodies and offer hands-on and verbal adjustments that increase the effectiveness of their practice

 – Offer adaptations, variations & modifications of asanas to address different students’ needs

 – Incorporate competent and proficient use of props to support and keep your students safe

 – Develop stress-management tools for yourself and your students

 You will become a nationally Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) through Yoga Alliance®
