Go Meatless For Dinner

Did you know: What we eat every day makes up around two-thirds of our water footprint. We use almost 1,800 gallons of water to produce one pound of meat alone. Considering the average American eats around 171 pounds of meat each year, one person uses around 307,800 gallons of water each year just to produce a fraction of the food on your dinner plate. Wow!

This month, acac Timonium is partnering with The National Aquarium in Baltimore to raise awareness around water conservation with #48daysofblue challenges and information.

Today’s challenge? Eat meat free! We’ve found a tasy, healthy, meat-free recipe below you can prepare and enjoy in under 30 minutes that takes absolutely no meat products to enjoy.
