Restorative yoga is the yoga of stillness. With the support of bolsters, blocks, and blankets, the body can fully relax so that the mind can be more quiet which then creates space for healing in all levels. It is not only great for those healing from injury or illness but is also an incredible adjunct to an active asana practice. It is a meditative practice done on the floor. After this interactive and hands-on training, one will be prepared to teach safe, balanced, and well-sequenced classes both with and without props. This training teaches the poses in groups so that one can critically think about an adaptation or modification to best suit each student.

These hours can be applied to Yoga Alliance’s Contact CEU hours. In addition, you will receiveĀ a certificate demonstrating that you completed the training and a student manual. Price includes passes to take a required minimum of three restorative yoga classes at acac West Chester post-training and pre-certification.

Open to members and non-members!
