Performance Training Open Testing Days
Come take part in our program’s kick-off open testing day at acac Pantops! This event is FREE and open to the community.
Monday, June 11 | 4:30pm & 5:30pm
Wednesday, June 13 | 4:30pm & 5:30pm
Participants will do a functional movement screening and a body comp assessment, as well as test their:
-40 yard dash (laser time)
-short shuttle (5, 10, 5)
-300 yard shuttle run
-MB chest throw
-sit and reach
Meet acac Performance Training Director, Michael Atunrase, along with the acac Performance Training Coaches and learn how you or your child can increase strength, speed, and athletic performance!
What is Performance Training?
Science based performance training aimed to improve general strength to maximize joint stability and increase range of motion. Utilizing the metrics of time under tension to prescribe the amount of stress we want to place on a particular muscle group by manipulating four main factors:
1.) the specific exercise/movement
2.) the tempo of the movement
3.) the amount of rest time prescribed after the exercise-movement
4.) the prescribed rep range of each exercise/movement and the number of sets programmed
1:1 or 3:1 client to coach ratio
