“Take a Stand Parts 1 & 2” with Rob Whittaker, Jared Rohrer, Jennifer Kelly, Dana Mook, & Jim Haseltine: This workshop is designed to teach you easy exercises to offset the nagging if not worsening imbalances caused by too much sitting (and perhaps too much screen time).  Part 1 will cover the basic imbalances created by the “sitting” lifestyle and what you can do to reverse the likely postural issues while at acac. Part 2 will cover additional exercises you can do easily at home, along with a few simple habits to adopt while sitting to fend off the likelihood for continued postural and muscular imbalances.

“Foam Rolling Workshop” with Jennie Whittaker: In this session we will discuss the why’s and how’s of the foam roller as well as guiding participants in the correct use of this versatile fitness tool.

“Kettle of the Bells” with Meredith Richard & Leigh McCready: Tis the season…to be busy! Even though there is a lot of hustle and bustle associated with this time of year, you can still find time to take care of yourself! Kettle Bell workouts are perfect for combining total body movements with core, cardio, and strength. Plus, it’s fun! If you’re running short on time, Kettle Bells are the most efficient use of your workouts! Come join us for some tips, so you can truly have time to celebrate the season.

“Get Upright” with Antje Waxman: The best upper body and posture exercises!

“Fitness is Coming” with Jared Rohrer: One does not simply “get” a summer body.  The winter is the best time to start training for all of those summer activities you want to feel and look your best at.  Join Jared for a fun workout that will challenge and strengthen you.  The workout will focus on a dynamic body weight warm-up.  Followed by body part specific strength training, ending with a high intensity finisher…all levels are welcome.

“12 Days of Christmas” with Pam Finney & Meg Klenk: In just one hour learn 12 new workouts with Pam & Meg!  Test out different pieces of equipment like: dumbbells, kettle bells, resistance bands, and more.

“Deck the Halls” with Johanna Ecochard & Hina Naeem: Simplify your full body workout, keep it fun, and keep moving! This workout uses a standard deck of playing cards to make your body work through a one-hour workout. Each suit in the deck represents a different exercise and after the cards are shuffled, the number on each card flipped determines how many repetitions of each exercise will be done. Examples: J=11, Q=12, K=13, A=14, and every 10 cards your abs will be worked with a totally different exercise not included in the deck.
