Sheila Lawson  is 79 years young and continues to train twice/week, working on alignment and stability. Pam Gottschalk, Lora Bush, and Heidi Figler are regulars in my small groups, taking on fitness challenges with support of their fellow small group friends several times per week.”

Pat brings incredible energy and enthusiasm into every training session and class she takes. She has had to work hard to overcome physical obstacles, and never waivers in her willingness to put in the time and effort.  My favorite part of our training sessions is when she “air boxes” and dances around between sets making the workouts so much more fun!”

“Thank you, Gwen, for trusting the process and trusting me. You put your faith in me, work really hard, and look at you bench pressing 75 lbs, rowing 30-lb dumbbells, and leg pressing 315 lbs.  I am so proud.  This lady said her goal is to get stronger and to not aggravate her shoulder or knee issues.  I said, “absolutely, but you have to trust me.  It’s going to be a little scary, but just trust me.”  And, she did.  Consistency, commitment, and attitude pushed this lady to be her best self.  Gwen just retired and will have even more time to play at the gym.  Happy Retirement, my friend!”

“This guy is a clown – he makes me laugh every time I see him.  And, he did have a stint at Ringling’s famed Clown College, so…..  LaVahn, now retired, was professor of the only class in the US of the History of the American Circus at the University of Virginia.  Because of the laughter, his workouts are the fastest 30-minutes ever (at least, from my end!).  When we are done with his workouts, MY abs hurt from the deep belly laughs.  Thank you, LaVahn for making me smile every week.  Your corny jokes, amazing life stories, and your overall good, sometimes twisted, humor makes me think ‘I haven’t had this much fun since I put my grandmother on the Titanic.'”
