“I am truly grateful for all of my training clients! I am lucky to get to work with inspiring people every day. I would love to get a pic of all of them, but here are a few of my crew. Sheila Lawson  is 79 years young and continues to train twice/week, working on alignment and stability. Pam Gottschalk, Lora Bush, and Heidi Figler are regulars in my small groups, taking on fitness challenges with support of their fellow small group friends several times per week.”

“I have honestly never met a man like Bruce Jolly.  He is authentic, honest, inquisitive, kind, and motivated to continue learning as he moves through life.  Bruce inspires me every day with his dedication and enthusiasm to working out even when he is not feeling well.  He brings so much joy into my work-week that I often feel I should be paying him just for showing up!”
Pat brings incredible energy and enthusiasm into every training session and class she takes. She has had to work hard to overcome physical obstacles, and never waivers in her willingness to put in the time and effort.  My favorite part of our training sessions is when she “air boxes” and dances around between sets making the workouts so much more fun!”

“I am so grateful for the opportunity to train this group of ladies.  They continually support and encourage me – personally and professionally, and they’re always full of kind words and guidance. I’ve come to them many times for advice and they never disappoint! I love how they are always willing to try anything, they do their best and work hard – making me a better trainer in the process.  Its been a pleasure to see their progress and to watch them as they realize their potential!  Thank you Mary Ellen, Selina, Becky and Stephanie for helping me through this journey of life, for always bringing a smile to my face and for being the reason I love what I do!”

“I absolutely love working with Freddy! He came to me a few months ago, after a car accident, for training in the water. Despite the fact he started in a wheelchair, Freddy’s attitude has been positive and uplifting since day one. His determination inspires me, and he is well on his way to walking again. He also has a wonderful sense of humor that really brightens my day! Thank you, Freddy!”

“Thank you, Gwen, for trusting the process and trusting me. You put your faith in me, work really hard, and look at you bench pressing 75 lbs, rowing 30-lb dumbbells, and leg pressing 315 lbs.  I am so proud.  This lady said her goal is to get stronger and to not aggravate her shoulder or knee issues.  I said, “absolutely, but you have to trust me.  It’s going to be a little scary, but just trust me.”  And, she did.  Consistency, commitment, and attitude pushed this lady to be her best self.  Gwen just retired and will have even more time to play at the gym.  Happy Retirement, my friend!”

“This guy is a clown – he makes me laugh every time I see him.  And, he did have a stint at Ringling’s famed Clown College, so…..  LaVahn, now retired, was professor of the only class in the US of the History of the American Circus at the University of Virginia.  Because of the laughter, his workouts are the fastest 30-minutes ever (at least, from my end!).  When we are done with his workouts, MY abs hurt from the deep belly laughs.  Thank you, LaVahn for making me smile every week.  Your corny jokes, amazing life stories, and your overall good, sometimes twisted, humor makes me think ‘I haven’t had this much fun since I put my grandmother on the Titanic.'”

Thank you so much for training with me! I knew I wanted to work with you when I saw you doing single arm, overhead dumbbell squats. I am continually impressed by how well you move. “I appreciate Ann so much because she works hard during and in-between our sessions. In just 6 months of training she has shown vast improvements. Consistency, organization, and clear communication are three of her strengths that have helped her succeed. She’s even taught me a thing or two for which I am grateful. We have shared many laughs and resolved a few frustrations because that’s all part of positive growth. I’m very proud of Ann’s accomplishments and I look forward to even more progress.”
