Training with Dana as part of the “Oh Baby!” Small Group Training not only allowed me to tone key muscle groups necessary for the end of my pregnancy and labor and delivery, but also allowed ample opportunity to share in my pregnancy journey with other pregnant women, including Dana. She was supportive, knowledgeable, and encouraging. Dana did an excellent job of balancing strength training and stretching while also working on specific pregnancy-related ailments. I highly recommend Dana!

Interested in small group strength training for women? In the past, I have run a small group dedicating to learning a variety of fitness equipment and strength training techniques for ladies who want to gain muscle and get stronger, but aren’t sure how. My participants have gone on to individual training, but I would love to build this group again! Email if interested so I can add you to my list. I need at least three interested participants to start the group. 


I come from a corporate, 9-5 office background and made a career shift in 2012 to pursue things I am passionate about and help others in a meaningful way. One of those passions is fitness. I have been teaching group exercise and training personal clients ever since. 

I have personal experience with overcoming Lyme Disease as well as mitigating the challenges associated with scoliosis.

I also found that exercise was life-changing (and life-saving) to me postpartum, after having my child in 2017. Coming to ACAC each day, whether it was to lift, teach a class, socialize, or simply have some “me time” was invaluable.

Training emphasis

  • For newcomers or those returning to exercise, I help you develop the confidence and know-how you need to make your experience at the gym effective and worthwhile.
  • I focus on core strength and corrective exercise to address postural issues, back pain, and muscle imbalances.
  • I am trained in aquatic exercise and offer one-on-one aerobic and strength sessions in the pool, using a variety of methods (deep vs. shallow water, cold vs. warm) depending on the client’s goals.
  • I also provide health coaching to introduce exercise and healthy eating habits into your life. Together, we develop plans for sustaining those changes long-term. 
  • I am sympathetic to those managing Lyme Disease and other chronic illnesses.
