I trained with her before, during, and after my 6th pregnancy

My husband and I became interested in weight training about six years ago after the birth of my third child. We were in and out of the gym for a few years before we found ACAC and recommitted to fitness. With consistency we saw large improvements in our lifts and fitness, but I soon found myself plateauing in my progression. We floated from program to program, trying new things with some success, but I was still frustrated.

When Dominique approached me a year ago offering to train me, I was skeptical. I had never entertained the idea of having a personal trainer and scoffed a bit at the idea that this person could really teach me anything I didn’t already know. I agreed to a trial session and the rest is history. After our first session together, I was hooked.

Dominique has helped me in ways I never imagined. A fellow mom and kindred spirit in the world of heavy weights, she and I dove right in to breaking me out of my plateau. I learned that strength and fitness is more than how much you can squat. It is improving and engaging every part of your body, perfecting your form and pushing yourself hard. Her constant redesigning of our sessions keeps me progressing and under her expert eye, I have reached significant PR’s in squat, deadlift, and bench and continue to improve. She takes her own personal time to research and plan our sessions so they are specifically tailored to my needs and goals. Dominique knows how hard to push and what I am capable of. I trust her judgment and appreciate her constructive criticism as I strive to be my best self.

I cannot say enough good things about Dominique! I have trained with her for a little over a year-before, during, and after my 6th pregnancy. Working out with her is the highlight of my week and I look forward to training with her long-term as we work together to accomplish my personal goal: competing in a Powerlifting Meet!
