Winter 2020 Group Exercise Schedule Updates | acac Germantown
Please refer to this as a quick reference to changes being made to our Group Exercise Schedule for 2020!
- Name change for Tai Chi. New name is Taiji Fit. Same instructor (Maureen), day and time (12:00pm) in the studio.
- 10:30am Aqua class changes from Water in Motion to Aqua Fit. New Instructor: Dave Jones.
- Noon Spin moves from 30 minutes to 45. Same instructor (Donatella) and start time (12:00pm).
- Vinyasa Yoga moves to 10:45am in the Group Exercise Studio. Class time is 10:45 – 11:50am. Same instructor (Venay).
- “Mind, Matter and Meditation”comes to us at noon in the Conference Room A (upstairs). Instructor, Venay. *Note: this is NOT a beginner program. Members with Yoga experience are encouraged to participate.
- Seated Fit Essentials class moves to noon in the Group Exercise Studio. New instructor, Jessica Smith will be taking the helm.

- Name change for Step Mix at 9:30am in Group Exercise Studio. New name is “RISE, Bench Aerobics” for the first 40 minutes followed by a 20 minute “SCULPT” class using hand weights. Same Instructor (Nancy).
- Noon Spin moves from 30 minutes to 45. Same instructor (Whitnee) and start time (12:00pm).
- 6:45pm Body Weight Strength Challenge class in the basketball court has been cancelled.
- Body Flow EXPRESS moves into the 9:00 – 9:30am time slot in the Group Exercise Studio. Same Instructor (Amelia).
- Balance and Core class moves to the 9:30 – 10:15 slot with instructor, Deb continuing.
- Gentle Vinyasa Yoga moves to 10:45 – 11:50am in the Group Exercise Studio with instructor, Venay.
- The 9:30am Aqua Fit class is replaced by a 10:30am Deep Water Workout. Instructor, Deb Moran. No more 9:30am Aqua Fit class.
- Yoga Fundamentals is new and is held in Conference Room A upstairs. Instructor, Venay.
- Seated Yoga Flow moves to noon in the Group Exercise Studio with same instructor, Liliane. 12:00 – 12:45pm.
- Zumba Toning has a new name: “Zumba FUSION“. Same great class, same great instructors: Natty and Kevin. Same time: 7:35pm.
- No changes!
- Reminder, every 3rd Saturday we have Intro to Spin for anyone wanting to learn how to take a Spin class. 10:15 – 11:00am in the Spin studio.
- 11:30am Body Combatmoves to the Racquetball Court. Same time: 11:30am – 12:30pm. Same instructor, Dave!
- Power Yoga is added to our line-up every Saturday at 11:30am – 12:15pm in the Group Exercise Studio. Instructor, Venay.
- Restorative Yoga from 12:35 – 1:00pm also in the Group Exercise Studio.
- Every 2nd Saturday we have an Intro to Yoga Clinic led by Instructor, Venay. Time: 1:30 – 2:00pm.
- The 12:30pm Body Flow class has been cancelled. Below is the new Sunday line-up.
- RISE, Bench Aerobics comes to us from 11:30am – 12:30pm. Join Instructor Karen for this FUN, old-school (to funky music) Step class in the Group Exercise Studio.
- LaBlast Dance moves to the 12:30 – 1:30pm time slot in the Group Exercise Studio. Same instructor, the wonderful Gizelle!
- New Class: LINE DANCING, also led by Instructor Gizelle comes to our Group Exercise Studio from 1:30 -2:50pm. Join us for this lively and fun partner-free class that will incorporate many types of dance.
