         Functional Training (SGT) | Mondays  6:30 pm – 7:15 pm (Training Mezzanine)

 

Training Emphasis

 

      Orthopedic/Post-Injury: corrective exercises specific to post-rehab./injury individuals; implemented to help them merge back into regular activities and exercise.

      Senior/Active Aging: exercises focused on improving stability, strength and movement quality to develop or regain abilities with coordination/balance.

      Conditioning: workouts designed to improve mobility while focused to increase stamina and core strength, build muscle, and burn fat.

      Circuit/Interval: workouts incorporating exercise/movement variety for improving adaptability and promoting muscular endurance, strength and power.

 

Certifications

 

      American Council on Exercise, Certified Personal Trainer (ACE-CPT)

      American Council on Exercise, Corrective Exercise Specialist (ACE-CES)

 

Experience

 

      Health & Exercise Science, Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU)

      Personal trainer since 2017

      Clinical experience in rehabilitative exercises for past-injury & post-op.
