My Story

Some people are lucky enough to love what they do for a living; I’m one of them. But I discovered my love for personal training later in life.  Struggling with my weight since adolescence and having no athletic background, I always saw exercise as a boring chore. A great part of my family history seemed to dictate a depressing destiny of obesity and its associated complications and diseases. Every short-lived diet only triggered a worse relapse in weight gain. Motivated by my young and energetic children, I felt I had to try one last thing: working with a trainer. Me?? Really?? Yes, really!! After a few months, I began to feel the strength of my own body and made steady gains with every session. This new-found faith in my abilities only fueled my discipline in following a healthier diet outside the gym, resulting in an 85-pound weight loss two years later. But I realized, it was no longer just about attaining a healthy weight; it was also about being strong and watching my body do things I never thought possible. Little did I know my whole life would change — my outlook, my health, and my career!  Ultimately, I created a new lifestyle for myself and changed careers to become a personal trainer. My goal — my passion — is to help clients acquire proper exercise skills, gain strength, develop better habits, and accompany them on their journey to living healthier, higher-quality lives!
