Maple Tree Cancer Alliance Survivorship Exercise Program
We are excited to announce a new partnership with Maple Tree Cancer Alliance, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of individuals who battle cancer. As the leading provider of exercise oncology in the world, Maple Tree has developed evidence-based, cancer-specific exercise programs to help individuals battling cancer live better, exactly what acac is all about.
Our Midlothian and Short Pump locations are now offering Maple Tree’s Survivorship Program, which is designed to help cancer survivors regain strength, reduce side effects, and improve overall well-being through exercise. This two-month, evidence-based exercise program makes it easier for survivors to stay active and take charge of their health. Overall, cancer survivors who exercise during remission have a five-fold decrease in all-cause mortality compared to those who remain sedentary!
