“I have been working with Paige for over a year now. I even followed her from another gym to acac Short Pump. I think that much of her! When I started looking for a personal trainer, I was 60 years old, hadn’t been in a gym for 15 years and looking for a workout approach which wouldn’t cause my fibromyalgia to flare up. The first trainer I worked with didn’t understand fibro and didn’t listen to what I shared with him about the illness. I couldn’t walk for three days after our first and last session together. (BTW, he doesn’t work at acac.) Paige, however, has a background in sports rehab. She has worked with several clients who have fibro or another illness so she is familiar with the challenges I have. Paige also listens to her clients and is always checking to make sure my form is correct and that I’m not experiencing any pain. Paige has taught me what I can do at acac in a way which challenges me without overwhelming my fibro. She has helped me create a workout I can do at home and a second one for when I’m traveling for my job. If all of that isn’t enough, Paige is fun and funny.
