Before training with Russell, I had tried every fad diet and exercise. I honestly tried personal training as a last ditch effort. But thank God for Russell.
Through a few months with Russell, he’s helped me overcome myriad obstacles (including acute lower back pain, fear of weight training, and unhealthy-but-sounds-healthy eating), changed my mindset from aesthetic goals to the goal of consistent progress and overall health, pushed me to do things that I thought were impossible but actually weren’t (I’m looking at you, pull-ups), and guided me in my most consistent, fulfilling, enjoyable, and sustainable pursuit of health. I’ve actually fallen in love with exercising – another thing I didn’t think possible.
Russell is the perfect blend of enabling clients to do more than they thought possible and encouraging them with how far they’re already come; he inspires his clients to take care of themselves and to have fun (but work hard!) while doing it. I can’t recommend Russell highly enough.
