“Sarah Dorman is the ultimate professional personal trainer. She has a unique way of demanding the utmost (kicking my butt) while at the same time she is an empathetic listener and coach. She is a great conceptual thinker and creates a work-out plan just for me. She knows her stuff – both anatomy and physiology as well as human motivation and ability. She knows when to push and when to stretch. She is always punctual and ready to start in the best place. I am always amazed when she leads me to a piece of equipment for the exact right next step I need, before I know it. Her timing is impeccable. What I love most about working with Sarah is her ability to make me feel like I am good at something despite the fact that I am way out of shape. She encourages me to exert my best. Training emphasis

  • Helping 40-60 year olds who know they need to exercise but don’t know where to start
  • Complete fitness programming for recreational runners
  • Injury prevention and cross training for recreational tennis players
  • Working with clients to identify and prioritize fitness goals and develop systems that enable them to achieve those goals
  • Appropriate exercise selection and technique with flexibility and mobility as important components of strength and conditioning
  • Developing a system of lifestyle change through incremental habit formation to help clients achieve their health and fitness goals


  • National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer
  • Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach
  • American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Health Coach


  • Began personal training in 2016, group exercise instructor, marathon runner
