RIDE into Fall Start!
Month of October (10/01 – 10/31)

For the month of October, take a trip to the mountains during our EDGE Cycle Studio Classes by riding a total of 225 miles to Blacksburg, Virgina from acac RVA! FREE to participate. All participants are welcome to attend a social on Friday, 11/1 at 6:30PM to celebrate our accomplishment! Pick up your tracker in the EDGE Cycle Studio starting Monday, September 30.

EDGE Cycle Studio

Ready to take it to the next level? Train like a machine in this 50 minute workout. Track your performance in real time, with our Power Board, and drive toward your personal best. This RIDE offers steeper hills, longer races, and less recovery time between intervals.

TRX Basic Training

Learn the foundations of TRX Suspension training with personal trainer, Zachary Holland. We will cover proper warm up/cool down techniques, a variety of full body exercises, simple operating instructions, and basic concepts that will carry over to advanced exercise.

Mind Body Studio

Fitness class for BOTH pre-natal and postpartum Moms. This class combines cardio, strength work and appropriate core work to help strengthen and tone the body both during and after pregnancy. Clients must be cleared for exercise by their physician.

Introduction to Basic Weight Training Machines with Leo

A free mini clinic on how to use the basic circuit of strength training machines in the PREP area. Geared for people brand new to any kind of weight training, scared to try machines on their own. No registration required.

One Love Foundation Workshop: Behind the Post

A workshop hosted by acac and One Love on the impact social media plays in teen relationships. FREE to attend for all high-school aged teens & parents. One Love was founded in honor of Yeardley Love: A young woman who tragically lost her life at 22. Her death was completely preventable. Our mission is to make sure that it doesn’t happen to others. acac has teamed up with Bon Secours Health Systems to present a national movement called “Walk with a Doc”. These Doctor-led walking groups are a safe, fun, and FREE place to get some steps, learn about health, and meet new friends. Keep and eye on who the physician will be!
