Timonium Alert

Attention Timonium Members: The large bay door in the main fitness center will be replaced with a large window on Thursday 1/17 and Friday 1/18.

There may be some temporary noise and/or brief cold air during this construction. We hope to minimize discomfort and disturbance to your workouts on those days. However, feel free to use the fitness equipment on the Timonium Road side of the club — or consider working out at our Hunt Valley location, where our terrific team would welcome your visit, as an alternative. Thanks!

About Riding for Claire and the Claire Marie Foundation:

acac Timonium members Marianne Banister and Rocky Wagonhurst established the Claire Marie Foundation in 2014 following the death of Claire Marie Wagonhurst, a sparkling 17 year old who lost a long battle with adolescent melanoma, the second most common cancer in young people.

In Claire’s honor, Rocky Wagonhurst created the Riding With Claire awareness campaign when he cycled 630 miles from Charleston, South Carolina to the University of Alabama to take his late daughter to college in the fall of 2015.  Claire Wagonhurst, a senior at Notre Dame Preparatory School, passed away in October of 2014 after a three year battle with adolescent melanoma. She was 17 years old and had just been accepted to college to study design. Although he had never cycled distance before, Rocky was inspired to complete Claire’s journey to college for her. He credits acac Timonium and the Expresso bikes as integral part of his training process for the ride, and as such, we are honored to take part in helping raise awareness for Claire’s cause. http://clairemariefoundation.org
