Metcon is a term being used more and more frequently around the gym – but do you know what it means? It is short for metabolic conditioning, a phase in your workout when you alternate high intensity exercises with short rest periods for a conditioning effect for the cardiovascular and respiratory systems. Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) is the safest and most effective provider of survival swimming lessons for infants and young children worldwide. ISR’s Self-Rescue program teaches children six months to six years of age how to survive if they were to reach the water alone. Lessons are available Monday-Friday, 7-9:30am.
