Staying Hydrated During Hot Summer Months

With increasing summer temperatures, it is imperative to stay well hydrated. So, how much water do you need to drink?  Well, a good rule of thumb is to take your current body weight in pounds and divide that number in half.  This number would be the amount of water you need in ounces. 

Example: A person weighing 150 pounds should consume 75 ounces of water per day.

A quick and easy way is to simply drink water throughout the day. If you find that to be too boring, these foods are both delicious and an excellent source of water!
