Homework done, energy up! acac Adventure Central’s before and afterschool program takes care of the transportation, snack and homework help, and lets your kids burn some energy outside so you can finish your work day worry-free. Available every weekday county schools are in session.
acac Afterschool is open to the community at a price comparable to other local programs.

Dolphin Swim Team
Our talented, motivated swimmers range from first-time competitors to experienced athletes, all supported by knowledgeable, encouraging coaches who help every swimmer reach their full potential. At acac, we believe swimming is a lifelong sport—building confidence, fitness, personal growth, and plenty of fun along the way.
acac Adventure Central is proud to be home to the acac Dolphin Summer Swim Team, a member of the Jefferson Swim League competing in Division Three. Our dedicated coaching staff focuses on skill development across all four competitive strokes, creating a positive, supportive environment where swimmers grow, improve, and love the sport.
acac also offers a year round swim team! Inquire about qualifications needed for joining our program.
Kids Day Off
When school is out, bring your kids to Adventure Central for a full day of fun! Children enjoy arts & crafts, structured activities, indoor playground, sports, lego room, and more.

Kids Night Out
Free with Family Membership! Drop your kids off for a fun night at acac Adventure Central while you enjoy a night on the town. Children, 5-12 years old will enjoy a variety of structured activities including time in our indoor playroom the Big Room, a bounce house, a rock wall, as well as our indoor basketball arena. Cheese pizza dinner and juice box are included.
Pickleball
From casual games to competitive rallies, pickleball at acac delivers high-energy fun in a welcoming, social setting. With options for beginners and experienced players alike, it’s a great way to stay active, sharpen your skills, and connect with other members.

Preschool
The program is held at Adventure Central, in spacious, well-lit classrooms. Children enjoy time outside in the large outdoor playground and turf field. On cold and rainy days, they can still run and play in the indoor arena and Big Room. May through August, swimming in the outdoor Waterpark is part of the preschool week. While much of the day is centered around keeping the children active, the Teaching Team utilizes the STREAMin3 Curriculum created by the University of Virginia School of Education. This curriculum focuses on age-appropriate social emotional skills and Kindergarten readiness.
Summer Camp
Serving kids ages rising 1st-6th grade and offering full day, 1/2 day, themed weeks, specialty camps, field trips, sport camps, swim lesson add-ons and more — children of all ages are guaranteed to have a summer of fun

Swim Lessons
Tennis Lessons
Our tennis team is here to guide you with a variety of tennis lessons designed to improve your fundamentals, get you thinking strategically, and improve your overall fitness on the tennis court
Private, semi-private, and group lessons are available from our USTA-certified pros, and kids are part of the acac tennis family, too. We teach kids lessons with specially sized racquets, less bouncy balls, and smaller courts and nets to get them rallying in no time.
