Registration for Summer Camp 2025 opens January 1!

Full Day Camp

Early bird pricing (10% off available Jan1-31): acac Member $351/week | Non-member $415.80/week

2025 Weekly Themes
Week 1 (June 9-13) | Color War
The annual color war returns! This year camp will be divided into 2 teams, vying for the ultimate summer bragging rights of Color War Champs. Don’t miss out on our annual Friday color fight!
Week 2 (June 16-20) | Spy Games
Campers will embark on thrilling missions, learn secret codes, and develop their best spy skills through team challenges, obstacle courses, and clue-solving activities. Get ready to unleash your inner spy and uncover the mysteries of the camp!
Week 3 (June 23-27) | Welcome to Hooville (Dr. Seuss Week)
Step right into the whimsical world of Whooville, where imagination runs wild and every day is an
adventure! This week, campers will explore the vibrant landscape inspired by Dr. Seuss, engaging in a variety of fun-filled activities that spark creativity and teamwork.
Week 4 (June 30 – July 3) | Mess Madness [most popular!]
Dive into the craziest, messiest week of summer camp! In Mess Madness, campers will embrace their wild side. Expect the unexpected as we host crazy obstacle courses and messy games that guarantee laughter and fun. Come dressed to get MESSY!
Week 5 (July 7-11) | Oh Captain (Pirate Week)
Rrrr ya ready matey? Channel your inner pirates through treasure hunts, ship-building challenges, and swashbuckling games. Join us for pirate-themed crafts, and a grand treasure hunt where teamwork leads to buried loot. Don your eye patches and ready your pirate speak—it’s time for some swashbuckling fun!
Week 6 (July 14-18) | Wizarding World
Step into a realm of magic and wonder with spell-casting, potion-making, and magical creature care. Enchanting crafts, wand-making sessions, and exciting quests will spark the imagination. Bring your robes and your wands—it’s going to be spellbinding!
Week 7 (July 21-25) | Step Right Up! (Carnival)
Step right up for a week full of thrills and smiles! Enjoy delicious treats like cotton candy and popcorn. On Friday, campers are invited to play games and win prizes on the midway. Don’t miss out as groups showcase their skills in the ring.
Week 8 (July 28-Aug 1) | Super Heros vs Villans
Unleash your superpowers during Super Hero vs Villain Week! Campers will create their own superhero or villain identities and backstories. Engage in thrilling challenges that test agility, strength, and teamwork. Join forces for epic battles and cooperative missions, or create your own villainous plots.
Week 9 (Aug 4-8) | Wet, Whacky, & Wild
Get ready for a series of water games, slip‘n’slides, water balloon battles, and obstacle courses. Cool off and have a blast while taking part in competitions and team challenges. Bring your swimsuits and get ready to get soaked!
Week 10 (Aug 11-12) | Farewell to Summer
Spend the last week of summer relaxing with your group and swimming the day away.

Campers start and end the day at acac and travel most of the day

The program blends fun outdoor activities, leadership training, and mentorship from experienced counselors to create a dynamic environment. They’ll gain the practical experience needed to eventually mentor younger campers while building lasting friendships and self-assurance.

June 23-27 | Coaster Kingdom
Member $525 | Non-Member $600
Campers will compete in the ultimate coaster-building contest. This week, they will become the promoters of their very own amusement park and must design it from the ground up. The week ends with a trip to King’s Dominion!

June 30 – July 3 | Hike Cville
Member $475 | Non-Member $550
Campers hike a new trail each day (average 3 miles), learn about geocaching and trail safety, and explore the best of central Virginia. Campers will swim daily.

July 14-18 | Paradise Cove
Member $500 | Non-member $575
Campers will enjoy a week of checking out the coolest water parks, pools, and lakes.
July 28 – August 1 | Swim Virginia
Member $475 | Non-member $550
Campers will travel daily to the different swimming pools and lakes and end the week with a lake Kayaking trip.
August 4-8 | Tee it up!
Member $500 | Non-Member $575
Campers will work together to build a putt-putt course and then play it! On Monday, campers will travel to local Putt Putt locations to learn about design and start thinking about their own Teen course. Then on Tuesday through Thursday, they will each design a whole and create the ultimate acac mini golf course. Friday campers will enjoy lunch at Drive Shack in Midlothian while vying for the longest drive from the tees.

Tennis Camp
Join us this summer at acac Adventure Central for Tennis Camp featuring weekly full-day sessions of tennis activities. This camp offers children fun tennis instruction in a safe environment, available to rising Kindergarten – 8th grade children and overseen by counselors trained by acac Tennis Pro, Cat DeSouza.
