Are you someone who loves to walk but feels pain or unbalanced when walking? Introducing School of Walk at Albemarle Square. Elite Performance Program Pre-Summer Clinic | Begins April 6
Give your swimmer a head start! The EPP Pre-Summer Clinic prepares swimmers for the challenges of a competitive team environment. It’s the perfect way to start for those who are not quite ready to swim a full competitive schedule but are looking for something more than just a swim lesson. These 8-week sessions and practice-style classes focus on refining all four competitive strokes, starts, and turns while building endurance!

Family Movie Night | April 12 | 6:30-8:30pm
Come in your jammies, bring your blankies and pillows to enjoy a movie night in the Adventure Central Arena. Hot dogs, water, and popcorn are included! Plus, enjoy a concession stand with candy, more popcorn, and sodas for sale. The Big Room will be open for friends needing to take a break from the movie and get their wiggles out! Members: $5/person | Nonmembers: $8/person. Adults must be present!
April Lifeguarding Course | April 12, 13, & 14 | Albemarle Square
Get trained and certified at our professional lifeguard training course and gain the skills and confidence needed to handle any water emergency. Participants must complete all prerequisites and be present for all 3 session dates. Pricing: Members | $250, Non-members | $290
Battle on the Dirt | April 13-14 | Adventure Central
Head to Adventure Central for the Central Virginia High School Clay Court Invitational! Battle on the Dirt is open to men & women from grades 9-12. Includes singles and mixed doubles and compass draws. Players are guaranteed two matches with format based on entries. $30 for singles and mixed doubles. Introducing S.E.A.T | April 18 | Albemarle Square
Our new class at Albemarle Square on Thursdays at 9:00am! S.E.A.T is a chair-based exercise program designed for a full body, low impact workout with options to suit a range of abilities and skills. Little or no experience needed for a great workout experience! Benefits include muscular endurance, joint stability, flexibility, cognitive function, heart health, improved posture, enhanced energy levels, and more!

Rooftop Yoga and Spring Social | April 20 | 9:45am
Feel refreshed with a morning yoga class on Saturday, April 20 at 9:45am. Space is limited, register in advance on the app, website, or in person at acac Downtown. Invite your friends, as this event is open to non-members! After class, feel free to stay and enjoy a social on the roof! Enjoy music and each other’s company.
Family Fun Fest: Into the Galaxy | Crozet Park Aquatics & Fitness Center | April 20
Bring the family for a fun day of Summer Camp themed activities! Children will enjoy rocket building and rocket launching, 2 bounce-houses, refreshments, snow cones, and popcorn while parents can ask questions about summer camp and everything else CPAFC has to offer. Head to Crozet Park from 11:00am-2:00pm!
Earth Day at Albemarle Square and Downtown | April 22 | 11:00am
Celebrate Earth Day and come by the table in the Albemarle Square or Downtown lobby for seeds and soil to plant flowers or veggies! Take home in a cup and enjoy.
Lifeguarding Course | April 26, 27, & 28 | Friday (prerequisite swimming) 6:00-8:00pm, Satuday & Sunday (instruction) 8:00am-6:00pm | Crozet Park
Join our lifeguard training program to become a certified lifeguard and learn the skills necessary to save lives! Participants must attend all three session days and must be at least 15 years old to participate. Students must be able to complete standard Red Cross prerequisites (300-yard swim, retrieving a brick from bottom of pool, and a 2-minute tread with no hands). Interested? Orange Green Dot Tennis Clinics at Adventure Central
Orange ball is the perfect ball for kids under 12 who are learning the sport! Your child will have a fun time learning the basics of tennis while getting some exercise outside. These clinics will be held on the clay courts on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30-5:30pm. Appropriate footwear required, racquets optional. Open for all children under 12. Pricing: Members | $25, Non-members | $32.

Family Fun Fest | Say Yes to the Mess | May 4 | Crozet Park
Bring the family for a fun filled day where you find out about everything CPAFC has to offer. Children will enjoy a paint party, gaga pit, swimming at the park, bounce houses, refreshments, and snow cones while parents ask questions. Head over from 11:00am-2:00pm with the paint party beginning at 12:30.

Erin Mays’ Summer Fitness Challenge | May 15 – August 31
Erin Mays’ free annual summer fitness challenge is back! To participate, complete 100 30-minute workouts or 50 1-hour long workouts (or, even a combination!) between May 15 and August 31. Five lucky participants who complete the challenge will earn one month of unlimited small-group training or two 1-on-1 training sessions. Email [email protected] to sign up!
