Meet the Nutritionist
Registered Dietitian, Licensed Nutritionist, ACE Certified Health Coach
With over 20 years’ experience, my background is in the science behind nutrition but equally important, treating you as a whole person. Calories in don’t equal calories out—what plays a more important role is our genetics, hormones, environment, and the state of your emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. I can teach you how to become more aware of your mind and body and the impact it has on your health.
There’s so much more to being healthy and happy than micromanaging nutrition; it’s a full spectrum of wellness that we need to nurture.
My goal is for you to live mindfully, have fun, eat good food, and feel your best!

“I have been working with Margaret for about five months. She is awesome at keeping me motivated, accountable, and trying new things. I appreciate that she reminds me of my original goals for coming to her. I’ve learned so much about nutrition, mental health, and the importance of self acceptance from Margaret.” – Noriko
“Even though I felt I knew a lot about nutrition, I found out that ‘you can never learn enough about how to live a healthier life.’ There is always new research and information on nutrition and Margaret keeps up with what’s happening so that her clients can be informed consumers!” – Beverly
“As a distance runner for the past 25 years, good nutrition and weight control have always been important to me. Margaret was instrumental in teaching me how to properly fuel my body. In May 2012, at the age of 42, I went on to complete my 11th marathon at my personal best time.” – Renee
“We never looked at food in the way Margaret does. On her tour of the local grocery store we found out a lot of very positive and important things about our eating habits. She was very helpful in clearing up many questions concerning different foods and how to prepare them that have been very helpful in our day-to-day lives.” – Steve & Linda P.
“After a couple of referrals from my doctor that did not work out, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I realized I needed to set goals, create a plan, and find a fitness trainer and nutritionist to help me get where I want to go. Starting on September 1, I wanted to lose 20 pounds by the end of the year. As of October 27, I have lost 12.6 pounds, more than half way to my first goal. Also, my doctor has cut my dosage for my cholesterol prescription in half. The goal is to eliminate it entirely by summer. The big advantage of having your personal trainer and nutritionist within the same fitness center is they can coordinate their actions to my benefit. Margaret and Seth are both pros, great to work with, and really understand my goals and how to get there.” – Dan R.
