NEW! This program will work on all four strokes, focusing on efficient stroke technique and building endurance. Must be comfortable in the water and know how to swim. Want to try a class out? Drop-ins are welcome (Mem $30 NM $32). This will be an ongoing program.

March 4 – April 27 | Dolphin Swim School | Tue 5:40 – 6:10pm, Thu 5:40 – 6:10pm & 6:15 – 6:45pm, Saturday 8:30 – 9:00am & 9:20 – 9:50am | Member $160 Non-member $200
The Dolphin Swim School is an ideal learn-to-swim program for young swimmers. Our instructors are trained in the Starfish Aquatic International Swim School curriculum, focusing on creating safer swimmers by developing swim and safety skills. The program includes 8, 30-minute classes designed to help students develop a foundation of swimming skills in a child-centered environment. Group size limited to 3. Select one day and time, class meets weekly.

March 4 – 18 | Fit For Food
We invite members to donate food or money to FeedMore in the name of their favorite trainer. For every item or dollar donated, participating trainers will lift 10lbs on Thursday, March 21.

March 8 – 10 | Lifeguard Certification Course | Friday 7:00 – 9:00pm, Saturday 10:00am – 8:00pm, Sunday 9:00am – 8:00pm | Member $200 Non-member $250 | Email Lindsey to register.
A certified Red Cross Instructor will work with students to become proficient in water rescues, CPR, First Aid, and AED. Participants must be at least 15 years old to participate. Students must be able to complete standard Red Cross prerequisites, which include a 300-yard swim, retrieving a brick from the bottom of the pool, and a two-minute tread with no hands. 

March 9 | Kettlebell Mini Clinic l | 1:00pm | FREE
Certified Personal Trainers Sarah Dormon and Chris Metzger will go over the basics of kettlebells including swings, cleans, presses and front squats. All levels welcome. Meet on the turf on level 2, no registration required.

March 9 | Kids Night Out Carnival | 5:00 – 8:00pm | Member $12 Non-member $15 | Email [email protected] to register
Enjoy an evening out while the kids enjoy dinner, desssert and a craft. Registration opens February 24.

March 11 – 17 | Group Exercise Theme Week
Enjoy some of your favorite group exercise classes planned to a themed type of music or workout! Register on the member portal or app under the “classes” tab 25 hours in advance.

March 15 | Healthy Horizons Luncheon | 12:30pm | FREE | Registration required
Nurse Deena will be speaking on bone health. While you learn, enjoy lunch provided by Chef Matt and socializing with old and new friends.

March 16 | Purse and Jewelry Drive | 10:00am – 2:00pm
Pink and Pearls will be in the lobby accepting donations of purses and jewelry. Everyone is invited to in (non-members welcome) to browse the collection. All proceeds are given to the recipient of the year. Pink and Pearls is a non-profit organization that supports women with breast cancer.

March 19 | Let’s Laugh Mini Clinic l | 10:00am | FREE
To celebrate National Let’s Laugh Day, Certified Personal Trainer Alex Jones will explain the physical benefits of laughter as well as techniques that enhance the benefits. No registration required; meet in the Mind Body Studio.

March 21 | Book Club | 1:00 – 2:45pm | FREE
The Book Club is member-ran and meets monthly in the Conference Room on the Mezzanine level. Light refreshments are provided by the Rooftop Cafe. All members are welcome to attend. March book choice is A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry.

March 27 | Date Night: “Health is Wealth” | 5:30pm & 7:00pm | Member $50 | Email [email protected] to register
Enjoy a three course meal from Chef Matt in the Rooftop Cafe & Bar. Includes champagne, fresh greek salad, choice of baked chicken or lemon butter baked cod with roasted garlic and herb quinoa and brown sugar honey roasted carrots, and frozen yogurt of lava cake for dessert. Don’t delay, only 5 couples per seating!
