Our youth tennis mission is to create a positive, caring and dynamic environment that mindfully focuses on the physical, emotional and mental growth of junior tennis players.

Junior Tennis Summer Camps

Junior Mini Camp

Tournament Trainer Camp

Levels | Intermediate & Advanced Green, Yellow and Orange Balls

Junior After School Programming

Preschool

This class is an entry level introduction to tennis for preschool aged children.

Mon, Tue & Wed | 5:00-5:45pm | Ages 3 – 5

Red Futures

For beginner-intermediate level red ball players who are relatively new to tennis or players that have aged up from the Preschool Tennis level of classes. Some prior tennis or other sport experience is recommended for this group, but not required. Players will learn the fundamentals of being an athlete and begin the basic fundamentals of groundstrokes, serves, volleys and rally skills.  

Mon – Thu | 5:00-6:00pm | Ages 6 – 8

Orange Futures

For beginner-intermediate level orange ball players who have advanced from Red Futures or who meet the age requirements. Players will continue to build on their athletic and tennis fundamentals which are groundstrokes, serves, volleys, footwork and rally skills. At this level, players will be able to rally from the baseline of the 36′ court with top spin, serve and return with rally, transition to the net, volley and begin to play out a 7 point tie break with a partner. 

Mon, Tue & Wed | 6:00 – 7:00pm | Ages 9 & 10

Green Futures

For beginner level green ball players who have advanced from Orange Ball or meet the age requirements. Players should be familiar with the fundamentals of tennis and have had some prior instruction. Players will continue to build the fundamentals of their tennis game improving their top spin and slice baseline game (forehand and backhand), serve/return, transition and net play and begin to learn to play singles and doubles full set matches.

Yellow Futures

For beginner-intermediate level players who have advanced and aged out of Green Futures or who have been assessed by a coach. Players at this level will use the yellow ball and should have a firm grasp on the fundamentals (serves, returns, forehand/backhand groundstrokes, volleys, slice). Some previous tennis training is required for this group. We recommend that players attend both Mondays and Wednesdays to develop properly and to advance to the next level.

Yellow Challengers

For intermediate to advanced level players who have advanced from Yellow Futures or who have been assessed and referred by a coach. Players at this level should have had some match experience with USTA L7, Junior Team Tennis or middle school/high school tennis. Players are encouarged to participate twice per week in addition to match play, tournament play and lessons with one of our coahces.

Tue & Thu | 4:30-6:00pm | Ages 11 – 17

acac Yellow Ball Academy

For advanced level players, participation in this class is through the invite of the Director of Junior Tennis. Players at this level should be competing regularly in USTA tournaments, Junior Team Tennis at the intermediate/advanced level or high school tennis. Players are encouraged to participate twice per week and also participate in match play and lessons throughout the week.

Frequently Asked Questions About Youth Tennis Programs

To register, please email our Director of Junior Tennis, Andrew Yu at [email protected]. He will be able to ensure your child is placed in the appropriate class.
Our junior clinics are offered in monthly sessions. You pick the day that works for your schedule and attend on that day for the month. Once enrolled, your child’s registration automatically renews monthly until you email our Director of Junior Tennis to withdraw.
Yes! We would love to have your child attend multiple clinics per week (based on availability) and would recommend a second day if your child is really showing interest in improving their tennis game.
Preschool Tennis lasts 45 minutes and is $18/member and $22/non-member.
Red and Orange Ball lasts 60 minutes and are $24/member and $30/non-member.
Green and Yellow Ball lasts 90 minutes and are is $30/member and $36/non-member.

Classes are billed monthly on the first of the month.
If your child is sick and misses a class, we will refund the cost of class as long as notice is given prior to class time. If they miss due to another obligation, no refund is issued. If you know in advance that your child will miss a class in an upcoming month, please email the Director of Junior Tennis prior to the first of the month and the month’s session can be prorated. We DO NOT offer makeups for missed classes as our classes stay at or near capacity.
